leeping accomodations at the Villa are sumptuous. The large Master suite is located on the second floor and commands a spectacular view of the Pescadero Canyon to the north. It features a King size bed, marble fireplace, private bath, veranda and entrance with stairs to the ground floor spa.
Adjacent to the Master bedroom is a small children's room with a trundle bed that can be used as two single beds or one double. The children's room also has a sliding glass door that opens onto a veranda overlooking the swiming pool, gymnasium, guest house and gardens. The childrens room also serves as an excelent Green Room for bands entertaining at garden parties.
There are three guest rooms on the ground floor, one a second Master suite with a private bath and entrance. All three guest rooms are furnished with queen beds. The two standard rooms share a bath between them.
The five bedrooms in the main house comfortably sleep 10 people.
lso on the ground floor of the Villa are the laundry room, home theater, billiards room and bar. The bar features a granite front bar with seating for two and a magnificent cherry wood backbar with sink and refrigerator. The billiards room, bar and halls are finished in St Remy Limestone and the entryway features a black marble border inlay and cabachons overlooked by a beautiful bronze titled 'Glory of the Seas' by the world famous sculptor Jerry Joslin.
he heart of the Villa is its kitchen. Located on the second floor with 270 square feet of working area, two sinks, three Sub Zero refrigerators, a pastry station, grill station and prep station, this is a full commercial kitchen capable of serving gourmet meals for over 100 guests; a kitchen you can cook in with your friends and still be friends when you're done! With four gas burners and your choice of either an electric grill or a two burner hallogen sauce insert, the stove is flexible enough for any meal plan you can imagine. Twin Themador electric ovens provide the ability to roast meats and bake breads cakes or pastries at the same time. The kitchen is fully equiped with a blender, food processor, toaster and complete place settings for 12. The chefs pantry is stocked with essential spices and the prep station is furnished with a full set of fine quality knives, a large hardwood board and a complete collection of tri-laminate pots and pans. The stove includes a large hood for ventilation and the granite kitchen bar seats 6. For late night snacks there's even a small microwave oven. If you don't already have a kitchen like this, you'll certainly want one before you leave.
Adjacent to the kitchen and seperated from it by the bar is the dining room. The dining table seats 10 with seating for 6 at the game table in the living room, making the indoor seating (including the kitchen bar) total 22. The veranda off of the living room has outside seating for an additional 8 people.
The Living room features a fireplace with conversation seating for 10. Also on the second floor is a large office with private balcony and two work areas. Above the Dining room on the third floor is a small library area.
n the grounds of the Villa you'll find a beautifully landscaped front and back garden perfect for summer parties, family reunions, weddings or receptions. The back garden features a salt water swiming pool with automatic cover, fresh water spa and a large patio with stairs to the veranda. A few steps from the pool is a gym and attached guest apartment with its own kitchen, living/dining area, bedroom, bath and private flagstone patio [Note: The guest apartment is currently under renovation and will not be available during the Summer/Fall 2005 season].
Between the front garden and the security gate is a 5 stall barn with a tack room and 10 ton hay loft. Each stall has a large attached paddock and there is a wash rack at the back of the building. [Note: Two of the five paddocks are being re-fenced and will not be available during the Summer/Fall 2005 season]. Below the barn and across the private road is an open riding arena measuring 60 by 100 feet.
