The annual Mothers Day Ride has been postponed to Saturday May 29th, 2010 to allow for trails to dry. We host a 3 hour trail ride starting at 10am and conclude the event with a fabulous champagne brunch on the veranda overlooking Montery Bay. Our resident chef will be serving Ranch Benedict with his famous country potatos and a delicious assortment of fresh fruit. It is opening weekend for the Villa and we invite riders from the local horse community to join us.

Don't miss the outdoor summer concerts in the most lovely settings at both Villa Montalvo and the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, only a 30 minute drive. Book early as the tickets sell fast and you will be surprised at the talent they bring in! Past artists appearing at the Winery include the Doobie Brothers, Natalie Merchant, Stan Getz, Chris Isaak, James Taylor, Bonnie Rait and many more.
Jazz on the Plazz an amazing line up of Jazz musicians is a free concert held every Wednesday evening 6:30-8:30 June 23rd - August 25th in Los Gatos. If you would rather be on the coast Twilight Free Concerts in Capitola on Wednesday nights will entertain you with a variety of rock, rege, folk, and classical musicians.
Come ride with us in the Boulder Creek fourth of July parade with local floats and clubs represented followed by a spectacular fireworks display on the beach in Santa Cruz.
The Pebble Beach Concourse de Elegance draws car enthusiasts from all over the states August 11 - 15, 2010. This is the most impressive antique car show one can attend on the west coast. About a 90 minute drive down the coast to Pebble Beach from the Villa.
Fall brings lovely warm days and the 23rd Annual Capitola Art & Wine Festival at Capitola Village Saturday & Sunday, September 11 & 12, 2010; 10:00 - 6:00 pm.
Halloween night locals and visitors fill the streets of Boulder Creek in costume and enjoy a colorful celebration on the town while the shops stay open late to hand out treats.
Should you want to head inland, pay a visit to the quaint yet sophisticated town of Saratoga just a 25 minute drive or a little further to Palo Alto, Portola Valley or Atherton. You will find a list of things to do including the Stanford concert series or Stanford athletic events at the Mid-Peninsula Calendar of Events.
There is always something special to do nearby in San Francisco an hour drive from the Villa via Skyline Blvd.
